Hardrace Rear Sway Bar 15mm for Mazda MX-5 Miata ND – Adjustable Roll Control for the Fourth-Gen MX-5
Give your fourth-generation MX-5 a flatter, more playful feel with Hardrace's 15mm adjustable rear sway bar. Two holes on each arm let you set the rear roll stiffness to balance the car with your front bar and springs.
It's hollow and heat treated with hardened rubber bushes, and it fits the factory mounting points on ND MX-5s from 2015 onwards.

Not suitable for: the NA, NB or NC MX-5.
Installation
Fit with the car safely supported on a ramp or axle stands. Undo the drop links and the bush brackets, then remove the original bar. Fit the Hardrace bar with its new bushes, refit the brackets and drop links, and tighten everything to the vehicle manufacturer's torque figures with the suspension loaded at normal ride height. If you tighten the bushes with the wheels hanging, they are pre-loaded and can squeak or wear early. Set both sides to the same hole. Start soft and go firmer if you want the rear to rotate more. No wheel alignment is needed for the bar alone. We recommend professional fitting.

Does it fit the MX-5 RF?
Hardrace lists the ND generation from 2015 without excluding the RF, but no source confirms it. Please check with us before ordering for an RF.
Which hole should I use?
Start on the softer hole with both sides set the same. The firmer hole adds more rear roll stiffness and makes the car rotate more.
Does it fit the NC or older MX-5?
No. It is for the ND (2015 onwards) only.
Do I need an alignment?
No. An anti-roll bar does not change the alignment settings.
Should I fit the front bar too?
Many owners fit both. The 25.4mm front bar controls front roll and the adjustable rear bar lets you fine-tune the balance.
Is it road legal?
Yes, it is a bolt-on suspension part. Tell your insurer about the modification.
The warranty on Hardrace products depends on the type of product, with a minimum warranty period of 2 years. This warranty does not cover damage caused by a car crash, improper use, negligence or normal wear and tear.
